  6. My .de domain has expired how do I renew it?

    If your .de domain is not renewed before it’s expiry date then it’s placed into TRANSIT by DENIC, the governing .de domain registrar. Whilst in TRANSIT, DENIC will contact you by letter explaining what you can do next. DENIC give you the option to re-register your .de domain or delete it. The .de TRANSIT period lasts for 4 weeks from the domain’s expiry date. To renew a .de domain in TRANSIT You need to login to DENIC to get your domain’s AuthInfo transfer code.
