How-to transfer your 123-reg domains to DomainsFoundry

Follow the steps in this guide to transfer your domains away from 123-Reg to DomainsFoundry, a UK-based Accredited Nominet Channel Partner.

UK Domains (.uk, .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .ltd.uk)

  1. Login to your 123-reg control panel
  2. Under Domain names, select your domain from the drop down list, then click Manage
  3. Click IPS Tag
  4. Enter DOMAINSFOUNDRY
  5. Click Change IPS Tag Now
  6. Open the DomainsFoundry domain search and enter the domain you wish to transfer.
  7. Tick I own this – Transfer, then click Add to Basket.
    Click Proceed to Checkout. Follow the on-screen instructions to order your free .uk domain transfer.

TLD domains (.com, .net, .org & all others)

  1. Login to your 123-reg control panel
  2. Under Domain names, select your domain from the drop down list, then click Manage
  3. Click Manage domain locking then click Unlock domain
  4. Click Back to control panel
  5. Click Request Authorisation Code & take note of the code shown.
  6. Click Modify Contact Details & check your contact email is up too date.
  7. Open the DomainsFoundry domain search and enter the domain you wish to transfer.
  8. Our checker will show you the price for transferring and renewing your domain for one extra year. Tick I own this – Transfer, then click Add to Basket. Click Proceed to Checkout.
  9. Enter your Authorisation Code from earlier and follow the on-screen instructions to order your domain transfer
