This guide explains how to setup a custom filter on your DomainsFoundry account to apply spam filtering to an individual email address instead of the default setup of spam filtering for all mailboxes on your DomainsFoundry hosting service.

Setup a Spam Filter for a single email account
- Log in to cPanel.
- For help accessing your cPanel see Where do I log in to my hosting control panel.
- Click Spam Filters
- Click Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam to toggle it on.
- Check Move New Spam to a Separate Folder (Spam Box): is Disabled
- Click Home to return to the cPanel home screen
- Click Email Filters
- Click Manage Filters for the mailbox you wish to apply spam filtering to.
- Click Create a New Filter
- Enter a Filter Name. For example, SpamFilter
- From the rules drop down list, select Spam Status
- Select begins with
- Enter Yes
- From the actions drop down list, select Deliver to Folder
- Enter /.spam
- Click Create
The filter will now automatically move any emails marked as Spam by the DomainsFoundry SpamAssassin spam filter to your spam folder for this single email address.

How-to create a filter based on spam score
You can create a filter that will only apply to messages marked with a certain spam score. This allows you to fine tune and choose the exact spam level your user filter will run at.
- Log in to cPanel.
- For help accessing your cPanel see Where do I log in to my hosting control panel.
- Click Spam Filters
- Click Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam to toggle it on.
- Check Move New Spam to a Separate Folder (Spam Box): is Disabled
- Click Home to return to the cPanel home screen
- Click Email Filters
- Click Manage Filters for the mailbox you wish to apply spam filtering to.
- Click Create a New Filter
- Enter a Filter Name. For example, SpamFilter
- From the rules drop down list, select Spam Bar
- Select contains
- Enter +++++
Note, this will filter emails at a spam score of 5 or more. To filter at a spam score 2 use 2 ++ symbols. The maximum spam score is 10 and the minimum is 1. 10 is the weakest (most spam will be let through) and 1 is the strongest (most normal email may be filtered) - From the actions drop down list, select Deliver to folder
