In this article we explain how to configure the spam filter settings (powered by Apache SpamAssassin™) for your account. Spam filters identify and sort or delete unsolicited email, commonly known as spam.

We have configured DomainsFoundry hosting servers with additional SpamAssassin rulesets, which are updated daily to help target and prevent the latest SPAM techniques. With Spam Filter enabled it’s possible to eliminate more than 98% of spam emails.

How-to enable SpamAssassin

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Click Spam Filters in the Email section.

  3. Click the toggle to enable Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam

Enabling Spam Box

SpamAssassin can move emails it marks as spam to a separate folder called spam, in each of your mailboxes. You can enable this feature by following these steps:

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Click Spam Filters
  3. Click Move New Spam to a Separate Folder (Spam Box):

To stop moving emails marked as spam to the spam folder click Disable Spam Box.

How-to disable SpamAssassin

To disable all junk email filtering on your account:

  1. Log in to cPanel. See Where do I login to my hosting control panel
  2. Click Spam Filters
  3. Disable Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam
