Change MX Records in cPanel

How do I point MX records in cPanel?

In this article we’ll show you how to edit, add and delete MX records in cPanel.

Edit MX Records

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Click MX Entry
  3. Select your domain (If you have more than one)
  4. Scroll down to the MX Records section
  5. Click Edit next to the MX record you want to change
  6. Enter the new Priority and Destination. Click Edit to save the changes.

Add MX Records

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Click MX Entry
  3. Select your domain (If you have more than one)
  4. Scroll down to the Add New Record section
  5. Enter the Priority and Destination for your new MX record.
  6. Click **Add New Record*.

Delete MX Records

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Click MX Entry
  3. Select your domain (If you have more than one)
  4. Scroll down to the MX Records section
  5. Click Remove next to the MX record you want to delete.
  6. Click Delete to confirm the deletion.
