This article explains how to add, edit, and delete TXT records in your DomainsFoundry DNS using cPanel.
Add a TXT record in cPanel
- Log in to cPanel.
- For help accessing your cPanel see Where do I log in to my hosting control panel.
- Click Zone Editor.
Click Manage for the domain you wish to add a TXT record to.
Select TXT from the Filter to only show your domain’s TXT records.
Click the arrow next to Add Record and select Add TXT Record.
For Name, enter the domain itself, for example
example.com., or a subdomain such as_dmarc.example.com. Enter the TXT record value into the Record field, then click Save Record.
Your TXT record will be added immediately. Please allow up to 24 hours for the change to propagate worldwide and for DNS caches to clear.
Edit a TXT record in cPanel
- Log in to cPanel.
- For help accessing your cPanel see Where do I log in to my hosting control panel.
- Click Zone Editor.
Click Manage for the domain whose TXT record you wish to edit.
Select TXT from the Filter to only show your domain’s TXT records.
Locate the TXT record you want to change and click Edit in the Actions column.
Update the Name or Record fields as required, then click Save Record.
Your TXT record will be updated immediately. Please allow up to 24 hours for the change to propagate worldwide and for DNS caches to clear.
Delete a TXT record in cPanel
- Log in to cPanel.
- For help accessing your cPanel see Where do I log in to my hosting control panel.
- Click Zone Editor.
Click Manage for the domain whose TXT record you wish to delete.
Select TXT from the Filter to only show your domain’s TXT records.
Locate the TXT record you want to remove and click Delete in the Actions column.
Click Continue to confirm the deletion.
Your TXT record will be removed immediately. Please allow up to 24 hours for the change to propagate worldwide and for DNS caches to clear.
