554 The IP address of your mail server (86.142.10.155) was found in the Spamhaus blacklist. See http://spamhaus.org for details.

Cause

The IP address assigned to you by your ISP has been blacklisted by the Spamhaus Blacklist. If you’re using a dynamic IP address, the likelyhood is that it was once used to send Spam.

Resolution

  1. Restart your modem or router. This may assign you a new IP address that is not blacklisted.
  2. Contact your ISP and ask them to request your IP address to be removed from the blacklist.
  3. Send the message using our web mail. This bypasses your ISP and uses our IP addresses.

Notes

We monitor our IP addresses and servers to make sure they’re not included in any spam blacklists. We operate a zero tolerance policy against sending spam, bulk or phising (fraud) emails to prevent our services from being blacklisted. Such strict polices are rarely upheld by larger ISPs.
