Follow these steps below to setup IMAP access to your DomainsFoundry email account on your Samsung Galaxy.
Configuring Samsung Galaxy
- From the Home screen, tap Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add account > Email
- Tap Others
- Enter your Email address and Password and tap Manual setup
- Tap IMAP account
- Enter your DomainsFoundry email IMAP settings:
- Email Address:
- Your DomainsFoundry email address. For example, info@example.com
- Username:
- Your DomainsFoundry email address. For example, info@example.com
- Password:
- Your email account password
- IMAP server:
- Enter mail.example.com replacing ‘example.com’ with your domain.
Your domain name is the part of your email address after the @ sign. e.g. info@example.com
- Security type:
- SSL (Accept All Certificates)
- Port:
- 993
- IMAP Path Prefix:
- INBOX
- Tap Next
- Enter your DomainsFoundry email SMTP settings:
- SMTP server:
- Enter mail.example.com – replacing ‘example.com’ with your own domain name.
Your domain name is the part of your email address after the @ sign. e.g. info@example.com
- Port:
- 465
- Security type:
- SSL (Accept All Certificates)
- Require Sign-in:
- Checked
- Username:
- Your DomainsFoundry email address. For example, info@example.com
- Password:
- Your email account password
- Tap Next
- Configure your Account options. Choose your preferred sync frequency and if you want to be notified when new email arrives. Tap Next.
- Set up Email. Give your account a nickname, for example, info. Enter the ‘from’ name you want to show others when you send email, for example John Smith. Tap Done.
Your Samsung Galaxy is now configured to send and receive email using your DomainsFoundry E-mail address.
