Problem
When using Apple Mail on your Mac some emails are missing their attachments.
Symptoms
- You’re able to view an email in your Apple Mail client but are unale to to are using Apple Mail.
- You receive an email you are sure was sent with an attachment.
- The attachment is missing and you cannot see or download it
Cause
This issue is due to a bug in the way Apple Mail downloads email messages with multiple attachments, or email messages with large attachments.
Resolution
Download your email attachment by viewing your email message in an alternative email client.
For ease of use we recommend using our DomainsFoundry Webmail service. You can login to Web Mail using your DomainsFoundry email address and password and download your attachments.
You can also view email attachments in Outlook 2011 for Mac, or Sparrow.
We have tested with your DomainsFoundry email address as these email applications are not affected by the Apple Mail bug.
Our email services are configured to be compatible to RFC industry standards so other ISP’s and web hosting providers are running into similar issues with Apple Mail.
