This article describes how-to setup Microsoft Outlook Express to send & receive email using POP3 and your DomainsFoundry email address.

Before you start checklist

Have the following details ready before you start:

  • Your domain name
  • Your email address
  • Your email password

Configuring Outlook Express

  1. Click the Tools menu and click Accounts.
  2. Click Add and select Mail.
  3. Enter your Name. Click Next.
  4. Enter your full E-mail Address. Example: info@example.com. Click Next.
  5. Enter your full E-mail Address for the Account Name. Example: info@example.com and your E-mail Password. Click Next.
  6. Select POP3 for the incoming mail server and enter:
    • Incoming Mail Server as mail.example.com, replacing example.com with the domain of your hosting account.
    • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) as mail.example.com, replacing example.com with the domain of your hosting account.
    Click Next.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Highlight your email account and click Properties.
  9. Click Servers.
  10. Select My server requires authentication.
  11. Click OK.
  12. Click Close.

Outlook Express is now configured to send and receive email using your DomainsFoundry E-mail address.
