How can I run PHP 7 on my website?

PHP 7 is the latest version of PHP and can provide a significant boost to the speed of your WordPress, Joomla!, Drupal and Magento websites hosted on your DomainsFoundry web hosting.

Change your DomainsFoundry account to use PHP 7

  1. Log in to cPanel. See Where do I login to my hosting control panel
  2. Click Select PHP Version.
  3. Select PHP Version 7.1 from the list and click Set as current.
  4. Your account will immediately use the version of PHP and modules you have selected.

Q: I’ve enabled PHP 7 but see an error on my site? What do I do?

A: PHP 7 is all new, so older websites may contain code which is not compatible with of PHP 7. To fix, simply set your PHP version back to PHP 5.6.
