You can connect your DomainsFoundry domain to your SquareSpace website using the steps below.

1. Connect Domain at Squarespace

  1. Log in to your Squarespace account and click the website you’ve created.
  2. Click Settings > Domains
  3. Click Use a Domain I Own
  4. Enter your domain name into the Domain Name field and click Continue
  5. Click Connect from provider
  6. Select Other for Domain Provider and click Connect Domain
  7. Click DNS Settings

2. Open your DomainsFoundry DNS settings

  1. Log in to your DomainsFoundry Dashboard.
  2. Click Domains
  3. Click the domain name you want to manage.
  4. Click Domain Tools > DNS Management

3. Set up your SquareSpace CNAME records

Add the verify.squarespace.com record:

  1. Click the arrow next to Add Record and select Add CNAME Record
  2. Fill in the fields:
    • Name: Copy and paste the unique code SquareSpace have provided to you. For example, 8zyqj3332vakb6v3dya6
    • Record: Enter verify.squarespace.com
  3. Click Add Record to create your new CNAME record

Add the www CNAME record:

  1. Click Edit next to your www.example.com DNS record.
  2. Enter ext-cust.squarespace.com in the Record field.
  3. Click Save Record

3. Set up your SquareSpace A records

  1. Click Edit next to your example.com DNS record.
  2. Enter 198.185.159.144 in the in the Record field.
  3. Click Save Record
  4. Click the arrow next to Add Record and select Add A Record
  5. Fill in the fields:
    • Name: Enter your domain name, E.g. example.com without the “www” in front.
    • Record: Enter 198.185.159.145
  6. Click Add Record
  7. Click the arrow next to Add Record and select Add A Record
  8. Fill in the fields:
    • Name: Enter your domain name, E.g. example.com
    • Record: Enter 198.49.23.144
  9. Click Add Record
  10. Click the arrow next to Add Record and select Add A Record
  11. Fill in the fields:
    • Name: Enter your domain name, E.g. example.com
    • Record: Enter 198.49.23.145
  12. Click Add Record

4. Refresh at SquareSpace

Return to your Squarespace Domains panel, and click Refresh below the records to check your DNS is set up correctly.
