How-to change the domain owner or registrant of a UK domain name

If the registrant details for your UK domain name are incorrect, or out of date, you can update these to your current details.

This is really useful if, for example, you registered a domain many years ago under a staff members name who’s left, or you’ve changed your company name or even if you’ve got married and want to use your new surname.

You can change the registrant name and registrant type on a UK domain (.uk, .co.uk, .org.uk or .me.uk) through your Nominet Online Services account. There is a fee of £10 exc.VAT for making the change.
