Sending fails when trying to send an email with large attachments.
Resolution
Your email is too large for your account to send or the recipient to receive.
- The total message size for sending and receiving emails on your DomainsFoundry email account is 25 megabytes (MB).
- If you send a large email to your contacted hosted with another email service, it may be rejected for exceeding their smaller email size limit.
If your email is being rejected you’ll need to reduce the size of the email you’re sending.
Tips for emailing large attachments
- Try compressing your files before sending.
- If you have a DomainsFoundry Web Hosting Plan then instead of emailing, upload the file to your webspace and provide a link to download the file to your recipient.
