How-to Backup a MySQL database

This article describes how-to create a backup of your MySQL database on your DomainsFoundry Shared-Hosting account.

Before you start checklist

Have the following ready before you start:

  • Your DomainsFoundry plan
  • Your cPanel login details

Steps to backup your MySQL database

  1. Login to your DomainsFoundry cPanel
  2. Click Backups

  3. Under Download a MySQL Database Backup, click the name of the MySQL database

  4. The MySQL backup file will start downloading to your PC or Mac
